Shadow of the Colossus builds its adventure around sixteen enormous opponents and the quiet journeys between them. Each encounter asks you to read the creature’s movements and find a route upward, blending puzzles with tense climbing.
Choose the right console and edition
This guide covers the original PlayStation 2 release. A PS2 or PS2 Slim lets you use the PS2 disc; the console does not have native HDMI, so check how you will connect it to your television. You also need a compatible memory card to save your progress. The game and any accessories not listed in the console bundle must be obtained separately.
